The following sections provide the details of updates made to this document.

4.1 May 11, 2007

This document is now Released for Implementation.

4.2 March 19, 2008

This document has been updated to include the HITSP Security and Privacy constructs and has been updated to reflect the new template.

The following changes have been made to the construct:

Updated Table 2-2 with IHE content

Updated Section 2.3 updated to IHE ITI TFv2 Revision 4

4.3 March 27, 2008

Upon approval by the HITSP Panel on March 27, 2008, this document is now Released for Implementation.

4.4 August 20, 2008

This document has been modified to reflect the updated HITSP approach to categorizing standards as Regulatory Guidance, Selected Standards, and Informative References. Name of IHE profile standard was clarified.

4.5 August 27, 2008

Upon approval by the HITSP Panel on August 27, 2008, this document is now Released for Implementation.

4.6 September 26, 2008

This document has been modified to include a new option from the underlying IHE supplement for Pediatrics Demographics query, as documented in Section 2.0. This option is available for Interoperability Specifications to include as additional requirements for implementation.

4.7 December 10, 2008

The changes in this construct address the following comments received during the Public Comment and Inspection Testing period (September 29 October 24, 2008).

No comments were received.

The use of HL7 2.3.1 for the Patient Identity Feed has been clarified in Section 2.1 Context Overview.

Changed the optionality for the interfaces: Patient Identifier Cross-Reference Manager, and Patient Identity Source in Section 2.1.2 Interfaces.

Provided specific standard reference for HL7 V2.3.1 and HL7 V2.5 in Table 2-15 Selected Standards.

Minor editorial changes were made to this construct.

4.8 December 18, 2008

Upon approval by the HITSP Panel on December 18, 2008, this document is now Released for Implementation.

4.9 June 30, 2009

This document has been updated to include changes based upon Public Comment:

The term PIX Transaction was updated to the correct term PIX Query Transaction throughout the document. The full text of the comments along with the disposition can be reviewed on the HITSP Public Web Site.

Minor editorial changes were made to this construct. Removed boilerplate text for simplification. The term actor was replaced with interface.

4.10 July 8, 2009

Upon approval by the HITSP Panel on July 8, 2009, this document is now Released for Implementation.
