On-Line Specifications Library

Welcome to the web-based version of the Healthcare Information Technology Standards Panel Specifications Library.

This site contains HTML versions of the most current HITSP specifications as of July 15, 2009. These versions allow a user to easily navigate among the HITSP documents. The library is available on-line and with an off-line library available for download here. The download is a Winzip archive and can be extracted to a local directory for off-line browsing of the documents.

Navigation and Site Usage

There are a few items to note about this version of the library:

• To navigate back to this index, click on the small logo at the top (or bottom) of any page.
• For users who wish to print the document, the first page of each HTML version of a document contains a small PDF icon - - that links directly to the PDF version of that document for quick download of a printable version. Adobe Acrobat is required for viewing these files, a free reader available for download here. The PDF file is suggested for printing the full HITSP Specification.
• The downloadable off-line library does not include the PDF files; however if the user has access to the internet all the external links will function and return the PDF file or other targeted artifact.
